Supported Living Skills have been super busy recently with their onsite work experience to build their work skills.
Every Monday, we are working in the college kitchen. Our tasks involve, preparing salad & jacket potatoes, cleaning equipment, operating the washing machine and getting the common room ready for lunch time. We have all become much more independent in completely our tasks and our confidence is growing in having a go at new jobs.
We have also been delivering internal post all across the learning village. We are learning the route from our college reception, to Foxwood school and round to Green Lane School. Over the coming weeks we are going to be completing some volunteering around college, painting barriers and sweeping leaves... watch this space!
