Form 6 enjoyed a great trip out to Warrington this week. We have been covering Travelling in the Community this term and finished the unit by heading out on the train. Students learned about the location of the train station, how to use tickets and also enjoyed a walk around the town centre.
They practised reading skills by using a visual schedule to how them what they would be doing, the practised communication skills having to order snacks in the café and overall had a great day practising lots of valuable life skills!
