Laura's Silver Duke of Edinburgh award group are working on the volunteering section of the award. They decided to fundraise for The Manchester and Cheshire dogs home. They firstly, created posters advertising for donations of dog food, beds, blankets and toys. They were inundated with lots of generous donations! Thank you to everyone for being so kind.
Next, they have been making and selling dog friendly biscuits and pupcakes. Students have made and baked them all from scratch. The biscuits have proven very popular and they hope to continue to make and sell them next term too.
