Wear it Pink

22nd November 2018

Staff and students at college wore pink today to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.

‘Breast cancer is still here. It’s still tearing apart the lives of families and it’s still taking the lives of women on a heart-breaking scale.’

Students held a coffee afternoon in the Bungalow for parents to have a brew, some goodies and a good old chitchat. This was lovely and we hope to hold coffee afternoons every Friday after Christmas.

Staff also had a go at ‘Guess the Researcher’ and well done to Tracey who guessed the right one! Hope she enjoys her prize.

On the day we raised a whopping £74.28! We are going to donate half to ‘Breast Cancer Now’ and half to one of our parents in Fox Wood who is currently being treated for cancer.

Thank you to all the parents/staff and friends who helped us on the day and donated and a big thank you for joining in and wearing pink!
