Form 4 have been very lucky this week having a sneak peek at the new Warrington Youth Zone, based in the town centre.
The students were amazed with the new facilities. Students took part in a variety of sessions. The inflatable dart board was a keen favourite, following closely by the music room, where students sampled instruments and learnt a variety of beats. There is even a recording room and podcast room!
Form 4 students really enjoyed the boxing gym-although some were disappointed that they couldn’t go straight into the ring. A little more practise is needed!
One of the best things to happen over the last two days, is that ALL students had the chance to get together and socialise. It has been wonderful to see.
We are really looking forward to what WYZ has to offer for our students! A big thank you to Phil, Molly and the rest of the team-thank you for having us!
